Hi,

Thanks in advance for any contributions.
I have a brand new PSU, CosairVS650, trying to power up my device without connecting to a motherboard.

Used the paper clip, after a while it will auto shut off.
I thought is was just loose connection so bought this from ebay,
PC Server ATX PSU 24Pin Female Socket Starter Switch Button Power Cable DIY

Tried it same issue PSU will power up then die after a while, if I used a PSU tester it can run for hrs without any issue..
Any thoughts what I am doing wrong??

Hi,

Just incase somebody was reading my post.
I found the solution, get a more power PSU then case closed.

The higher end PSU works fine.
