Hi,

I am looking for a alternative keyboard (other than the apple ones) for my Macbook Air so that I can use it with a monitor.

Any recommendation?

I am considering the Logitech K811 but it is quite costly.

Thanks!

I am currently using the Logitech K760 keyboard with
1) ipad
2) Mac Mini
3) iphone

Quick bluetooth switching between the 3 devices with a single button press.
Powered by the sunlight, ceiling light or monitor glare. No batteries needed.

The downside? As far as I know, you can only get it from Amazon.com

But it is quite reasonably priced, especially with Amazon global free shipping

I am using a normal wired Microsoft keyboard and mouse. Both are attached to a USB hub which is then plugged in to my MacBook. Saves me having to plug and unplug so many wires. You do lose out on the trackpad gestures but nothing I can't live without. You can get them at any challenger store for around $20?

IMO you should look for those mechanical ones. I think they are worth the price as they are so much better to type on. I'm unaware of your budget but one they for sure, they are worth it.

Consider the following brands -

DAS Keyboard
Ducky Keyboard

Are Microsoft keyboards compatible with Mac? There is no "Command" key on the keyboard?

Thanks!
