Any good keyboard to recommend?

Looking for value for money. <100?

but if it lasts long and is great, idm gg slightly higher

Mechanical kbs sound good, but abit too pricey for me. they tend to be in high 100s range? correct me if im wrong.
Currently using laptop kb, and seems ok to me. gg to upgrade desktop.

Currently using a steels eries kinzu mouse so no need for mouse, something along those lines?

good price but reasonable performance for gaming.

Its ok to use China ones as long as its cheaper.

China linear switches are smoother than cherry.

If you get clicky ones (china switches), main difference is that the actuation point is slightly below the click point, which means u can lift up and press the key again without clicking. Its a minor point.

In terms of performance:
Gateron>cherry MX>Greetech>Kailh

Corsair Strafe from Qoo10 Videopro, $168-$10(item coupon)-$30(cart coupon)-$3(giftcard)-qpoints(if any) = $125/$115 with 1000qpoints
it may be slightly above your budget, but strafe is good.

I am looking at Strafe too but because it doesn't comes with braided cable and it's made out of plastic, makes me contemplate again. How does it compare to K70 RGB? Like K70 as it comes with aluminium frame and media controls however, the RGB is not full 16.8 million colour.

hi Mech Keys users,

does ring damper works on cherry blue? or it will ruin the clickyness?

Thanks!
It will reduce the sound of bottoming out, but will not affect the click at the actuation point.
It's good if you wanna reduce the travel distance and noise from bottoming out.
If you are an experienced touch typer that never bottoms out or u like the sound and feel of bottoming out then don't do it.

Moi tempted but durable boh and gaming performance how.
Also boh local warranty have to buy export set now.

Imho mouse more dirty.
Moi want washable mouse.

I've been using for 4 years now and have washed it maybe 7 times.

I can't speak for gaming performance. Assume that it sucks la. Its just a normal keyboard that is washable and very durable.

A mouse can hardly be dirtier than a keyboard. All the hair/dirt/particles/dust drops in between the keys. When you flip your keyboard upside down and shake it, see how much dirt drops out of it.

i used razer blackwidow for a month and sold it. i keep accidentally pressed the macro button on the left side.
then I starting to compare Strafe & K70 RGB, I chose K70 RGB ($60-70 higher than Strafe)
K70 pros - dedicated multimedia keys, aluminium frame, rgb
Strafe pros - usb pass through, heard the led is sharper
if buying k70 rgb, can use qoo10 $30 coupon to offset, i think today is the last day. let us know what you decided :)

I think ultimately I will go for the Strafe since it is full RGB and the LED are brighter. The overall keyboard will feel brighter too as the base of the keycaps are white (which reflects light better) instead of black.

But I will miss the brushed aluminium (not dust resistant though) and the media control key :(

I am actually a bit OCD with regards to that lol. But Corsair keyboard will have green/blueish tint when it is showing full white as they don't have dedicated white LEDs.

After the update it is still not full 16.8 million cos the hardware does not support it.

What the hardware does not support, is 16.8m colors with no flickering issues on lighting effects.
The full 16.8m colors is still very much available and supported, and there's no flickering if you use static colors.
