Get the Rosewill RK9000 mechanical keyboard from Cybermind, I think they're selling it at $99 now. The RK9000 is NKRO on PS/2 and 6KRO on USB.

I've not looked back ever since I switched to my mechanical keyboard.

$99 (bargain to $92 or $93 at PC Themes)

Never owned a Ducky but the general consensus is they're the way to go for backlit keyboards

Hmm... It's more affordable, but I wouldn't consider it low-end. Well, anyway, I'm happy with my Ducky so far, have used it for more than a year without any problems. But if I had to choose an affordable mech kb with backlight, I'd probably go for the Rosewill.
