KHH + Tainan hotel

Need some advice

I was planning 9 days Taiwan trip.. go KHH and Tainan only.

KHH has few thread for me to read.
I more or less know where to stay But Tainan.. not much information.

My plan was SGP --> KHH --> tainan --> KHH --> SGP

KHH, I will stay @ 華宏飯店 near to KHH main station. since I will take train to tainan.

When return will stay near Formosa Boulevard, any recommend hotel near that area?

For Tainan, I use booking.com find this hotel Tie Dao Hotel (铁道大饭店), anyone stay there before
Is taxi easy to find at Tainan?

I stayed in a business hotel called kindness which was near liu he night market. The hotel's service was very good. They also serve finger food and light snacks foc at night in their cafeteria.

Cheap no frills hotel. It is right opposite the Tainan train station.

I took taxi a few times in tainan. No problem.
There are also a couple of tourist bus in tainan that brings you to the more popular tourist spots.

If you are into museums, must go to Chimei Museum (奇美博物館).

Yes, the other 2 users mentioned that hotel full name is Kindness Hotel Jhong Jheng, which is walking distance to Formosa Boulevard Station(捷运美丽岛站). I liked the tea break supplied for whole day, especially the 茶叶蛋，it taste good...

秝芯旅店六合館 (Legend Hotel Kaohsiung Liuhe) -- this one provide complimentary shuttle bus to 3 MRT station. I might consider this as I had 80+ yrs old elderly. Has shuttle bus.. at least less walking distance especially with luggage.

秝芯旅店六合館 (Legend Hotel Kaohsiung Liuhe) -- this one provide complimentary shuttle bus to 3 MRT station. I might consider this as I had 80+ yrs old elderly. Has shuttle bus.. at least less walking distance especially with luggage.

Shuttle bus means waiting, and whether the bus will be full or not. haha...

There's a few kindness hotel in KHH. Find the one that is most convenient to you.

There is some in tainan central too if i am not wrong.

I stay in Legend Hotel before, it wasn't close the MRT, at least a few blocks away.

I think the closest one only run east-west, so need to transfer to the north-south line to reach the train station.

That being said, the main reason I stayed there was it's proximity to this breakfast shop.

For Tainan, you might want to plan to be there on Thursday or Sat/Sun, when the biggest night market 花园夜市 is open.
