I have been trying to buy the amazon kindle ebook reader but i am not able to find it. Tried shipping it from amazon US site but it is not allowed. Can I ship it from some other site or is there any physical store which sells kindle ebook reader (authentic ones).

you need a freight forwarder e.g. comgateway, hopshopgo, borderlinx, vpost. Or if you don't mind paying a premium, there're a couple of people selling in hwz marketplace

If you don't mind paying more, there's a shop called videopro at sim lim selling kindle. It also has a website. Google for it. Anyway, the cheapest way to buy one is to get it directly from Amazon.

Use the advanced search function and search 'kindle' select display 'title' instead of posts/words.... There're quite a few people who sell them here... I would also suggest you to read how to buy kindle books outside US.

YOu could always use a forwarder like VPOST and such to ship things back. Hence, you could compare the price.

I would advise against vpost. Try borderlinx or comgateway instead...

can try buying off ebay too. I bought my Kobo reader from ebay (very close to Amazon's price).
