KL or Batam?

I cannot think of much that will make me enjoy a Batam stay that long.

tbf same for KL but at least you can branch easily out from KL to other places of interest.

I have one week of leave to clear in May. Planning on a solo short trip nearby as I already have a longer trip planned in Oct.

I did some research. Transport and hotel costs roughly the same. So question is KL or Batam more interesting and fun to you?

for batam you can nua at beach club, do water activities, atv inside forest, do motorcross, visit zoo, lupsup, ktv, many cafes

Batam nothing much to do.
Ferry cost $76 for 2 way trip.

If you love to drink and club or pub, can go batam.
If you love to find women, or piak piak, yes batam. Other than that, nothing much to do.
The food there cannot make it and nothing much you can do there, unless you are into water activities.
Go KL is better.
