Knowledge transfer in engineering is hard problem

Here the definition of knowledge transfer differs from how I normally associate this term in my work. Idea is same, but mine is more about knowledge continuity of a domain from one person to another, normally associated with work.

If it is about craft knowledge passing from one to another, indeed one has to pick up on oneself by trial and error and working out the thing. The best teacher is oneself, other are merely guiding you to teach yourself how to learn.
