Actually it all depend on your Unit CO.....some CO might want everyone to stay in before outfield, while some CO allow you to book in on the day itself

Nowaday, they let you consume early lunch at cookhouse before moving out. By the time you reach outfield 1st deployment, almost half day gone liao, also good la.

so... for those going KCIII for ICT... depending on your luck.... CO if logistic side... confirm good life

maintenance base la... but same one lah... quite a number of logistic unit train there

ALTI or ALTC ... they conduct some training/grading for the logistic units


rast time ALTC at portsdown camp..... the oldest lousiest camp I ever seen... dilapidated camp...

hehe had my first 3 ICTs there back in the 90s Was doing post grad still gonna call back for reservist said can arrange research and clinical or lab work Those were the days...but really fun...sad sad didnt have much photos of the old place.... KC 3 was a good experience too

would like to ask a question, is there a 1-for-1 exchange for faulty items like boots? (all my boots just disintegrated when i picked them up, havent used them for nearly 10 years)

or do we have to purchase them from the emart?

I just changed my boots at the Kranji Camp 3 emart last week. They need to be from a specific brand - Frontier, you can find the tag inside the shoes.. If not cannot exchange

Eh you can’t expect them to simply just change any boots that you found somewhere right

Emart doesn't but ST will be doing it. Happens during mon or ICT they have ppl station in camp to do the exchange 1-1. Keep a lookout for it. They normally Camp at training shed beside the in pro cookhouse
