hi all will be having 1 low key soon at Kranji camp 3 but this is my first one after so long. 31 year old how ah
means i won't be finishing 7 high + 3 lows le, cause 40year old then is MR right?

any idea what is 9div arty hq?

- other than fbo + essentials
is this stay in stayout? i check on the websie cannont see anything sia

any dummys guide to emart purchase?
-buy new uniform
-new boots
- can exchange new ibv all these?

Actually kc iii is a logistics training ground... U will see ALTI which will be the assessors....

Usually no stay in

First week of high key is usually training and preparation... 2nd week outfield then finish Liao

Since is low key... It might be a new unit in kc iii? I guess only

Low key do nothing la... Probably some refresher... Maybe is whole battalion briefing... So can settle all your logistics , uniform etc

So just go ahead and have fun

Think should be able to MR before 40, provided u have attempted at least 1 Non-ICT IPPT prior to year 2022. Because if let's say u have done 5 Non-ICT IPPT for the last 5 years, it means your LK is considered "done". So no need to care so much about the LK. Most important is your 7 HK.

32yo = LK (3rd cycle)

Was it taken after 2014? If yes, then according to the linked thread, u should have completed 3 ORNS cycle already. So now u just need 7 HK and u are considered MR. So this year your LK is abit "wasting time" la

check NS portal as well to just get up to speed with the ORNS count (by work year)

OP’s posting is at the Division level, 9DIV ARTY HQ. So I don’t think there will be any battalion briefing. Unless he’s posted to CSSB, then by right it should be CSSB and not 9DIV ARTY HQ.


Activities would likely be provide support in planning and coordinating in ops room. In terms of completing your cycle, there’s a chance you won’t complete it by 40 as they may not call you back every year.

Going for my first ever ICT in KC3 as well next week 22 Aug. My unit is probably a maintenance one, is it still the norm to bring only sbo and helmet with some hangers and a lock?

If any lao jiao going for this ict can help bring me up to speed? Thank you!

What is your unit? If this is your first ICT, can relax abit, listen to instructions as you report into camp. Should be quite straightforward. If there is stay in, hangers, toiletries, locker, will be useful. Even if you didn’t bring on first day, typically you get the sense of your unit on day 1, and could utilize the subsequent days to bring more stuff in.

Your call-up should mention what to bring and report in. Typically something like:

“Report in No 4 Dress with Head Dress & FBO.”​

If it says FBO, bring everything (benefits you as you could potentially change your old gears, if applicable).

If it says No 4 Dress with Head Dress only, means no need FBO.

Sorry, I can’t advice any further, as I do not know which unit you are going to.

Even if you don’t bring in, you can always bring in on the other days. Your unit won’t be too hard on you for your first day first reservist.
