Most of the officials on both sides seem to be making pretty measured remarks. I rather like the comments made by SBY and his foreign minister, who seem to be trying to calm the situation.
It's the Indonesian idiots seeking election that's making the stupid noises.
I wonder if the Indonesians who think that we have no right to complain about the naming of their warships will still think so if we name a warship RSS Screw Java.

Let bygones be bygones. It was a chaotic era during that period of time. Every country was either allied with the USSR/China or the US during the Cold War.
