Exactly. Head towards the Federal Hotel, then towards the T-junction in the same direction. This will be Jalan Pudu, with the Swiss Garden Hotel across the road from you. Head towards and pass it, you will reach Puduraya Bus Terminal and Jalan Petaling. All in 15min from BB Plaza.

From B.Bintang take train to Petaling Street is very waste of time. Need to change monorail then alight at Hang Tuah then take one stop down. From there, still need to walk.

Walking straight from B.Bintang will end up being faster, about 15 minutes. Walk down the now defunct pudu bus station then turn left when you reach the junction where watson is. Some cabs will quote you alot and some won't pick you up.

Go in the morning if you want food, evening time, pasar malam.

Yes, alight here and you can get into Petaling street. Make sure you are on the opposite side of Indah Hotel. There is an overhead bridge you need to get out from after alighting from the train. You should be able to see the Hindu temple. No need to change train. I stayed at Indah 2 years ago.

If you want to walk, by all means. There are sign board on the road, watch out for Petaling street name. I walked from KL Plaza few years ago to Petaling street. very straight forward. Just like someone mentioned earlier. Not sure, just get a map. Walking time, ~25min depending on which part of BB you are at. My brisk walk from KL Plaza to PS was 10min. I think My pace is pretty fast for most people, so walk at your own "risk" if you are not too tired.

ANy one has contact for local transport service like private car to and from coach to hotel and back in KL?

I am looking for one in Dec. Formerly, I was using someone service before, but that person had since gone back to her hometown.

KL LRT, Monorail and Kommuter trains also accept Touch n Go card, those who drive to JB and pay the causeway toll fee can also used the TnG card to use their trains.

Ya. need to camp there early in the morning to get the tix.. but once i try before, just walk in.. ask the counter gt slot for 2 persons anot.. he told me just join the nx batch. haha

sometimes ppl late or forget their timing, so they might have slots... but if u all are a big grp, then all the best. ;)

Actually, most of the coaches take about 5~6 hours (including lunch break at Yong Peng) to reach KL. However, you can try Starmart coaches, whereby they don't have any lunch break in-between except a toilet break (abt 15 mins). I think they are faster than the other two, however, do be prepared that the coach is travelling at high speed most of the time.

In fact, majority of the travelling time is due to the jam at Tuas causeway. Usually it will take at least 1.5 hours to clear the Singapore custom (especially during the holiday season).

I used to take 1st coach and am looking for alternative due to my wife's fear. I am considering Starmart. On Starmart website, it mentioned that the return trip on normal days will be at teh causeway, is that right?
