so if we tell, machiam those old time story teller.. they will sure close in to listen one...

perhaps loh... my block sometimes got unexplainable things happen one lei...

sometimes the lift will stuck at that very floor with that balcony..

once, in class(on the floor with that balcony), we just so happen to ask about the story, then the lights everything went off, whole room dark..

mechanical fault? coincidence? you be the judge...

wah i see so much mebbe also contribute.

so many people contribute NS experiences and stories, i also contribute one lo.
My old house also got, but is not me encounter, or maybe i oso got but forgot. anyways that for another time.


i served my NS in police force,
thus my training term was served inside Police Academy (now Old Police Academy).

now in PA there are quite a few coys, my time was around late 2004 till mid 2005.
I was in Delta coy, while a friend stayed at Bravo coy.

Delta coy was 3-storeys high and had toilets at each floor catering to two bunks.

Bravo coy was more freaky cos the whole coy shared a common large toilet beside their coy, and above the toilet was the rooftop that can be accessed through Bravo Coy lvl 2.

One incident i saw myself was actually when a squad just moved into the top-most bunk above my squad. We were also assisting them cleaning out the place when one of them exclaimed and pointed to the bed on the upper deck. (we slp on double deck beds.)

we crowded over and saw that there was a super distinct footprint on the bed. only one footprint, and it was a veri veri small footprint, resembling that of a toddler, if not baby. Now we noe that sometimes u can make that imprint using ur clenched fist and fingers, however, all of us knew from one look that the footprint was nothing like those being done with our hands. There is DEFINITELY no babies or toddlers in any nearby vicinity, (it's Police Academy), and quite a few people were in the room at that time.

before one of my squadmate could gather more people to see, one guy just flattened out the bedsheet and removed the imprint. Most didnt make any noise, and quickly left to do their own things. It was mid-day btw.

There were other sightings that had made this footprint rather eerie. Some of us discussed later, and one of my squadmate who often woke up in the middle of the night and talked to himself, told us of his sightings.
In fact, more than a few people had seen flashes and images of an elderly woman carrying a baby in her hand, wandering around in different spots of our Delta coy. Sometimes with her would be a small girl aged about 7-8. Some also say that this elderly can be seen in wee hour of the morning walking around PA selling something. forgot wad is it le. something edible la.

My this squadmate who talks to himself, was not those attention seekers nor braggers. but he did tell us that mostly he was asking for 'space' and asking 'them' to stop disturbing him.

Bravo Coy has a bunk nearest to Delta coy, that is always vacant. I asked my friend in Bravo coy, who told me that rumors is of the 'haunted' bunk managed to 'throw' everyone off their beds every night when they slpt, both upper and lower decks of the bed. The instructor back then initially refused to believe until one of the guy went crazy and ran around the rooftop above the toilet in the middle of the night, screaming. He was sent to IMH later on.
From then on they stopped allocating squads to stay that specific bunk.

ECHO coy, the coy seperated from all the other coy and has bunks that housed only 4/6 people, more like rooms, is said to be most eerie and haunted. This was because they are like located in a middle of a jungle, and there's a large well in between the coy and the path leading from the main coy areas to Echo coy. A very large tree grows over the well and sort of covered the well, so it's not so visible or prominent. The well is also boarded up liaoz.

But yea, i heard that echo coy rooms has some symbols and religious items pasted outside their windows above, only for those that was facing the well.
Of course numerous sightings of the lady in red from the well were seen from Echo coy mainly.

hmm a quick one story here..

during secondary school, i always go to sch early coz dun want to squeeze with so many ppl and I am used to waking up early.

it was only like 6.15 am in the morning (took 1st bus) and I reached my sec sch. The building hor is separated into 2 wings, left and right. the assembly square is on the left wing but the gate to left wing is locked. So normally, i will enter via the right wing gate, climb the stairs to 3rd floor, pass the library to left wing and down again.

the corridor outside the library at that tie is normally not lit so early, only some moon light shone in, and the corridor was partially covered by the roof.

One particular morning, ard 6.15 am also, i was making my usual way over to the left wing.. on entering the corridor beside the library, i felt a sudden chill.... hairs on the back of neck stand up.. normally i wun look into the library windows as it is dark and nothing to see but on some strange feelings, i looked in. I saw a man's face on the window and got freaked out! it was like just behind the window.... i quickly goes down to the assembly area...

later that day, i went to the corridor again, normally there is some posters on the windows there so i thought i might see a poster instead of something.. when i checked.. there were no posters that day and where i saw the face, behind the window was a bookshelf........

I never goes to school so early anymore...

Lemme share 1 rather spooky rumour that was a NO-NO to tell in HSBC atrium..


Taboo of HSBC

during one of my interns, the first day of reporting to HSBC atrium @ orchard.. the office is located at 3rd of the new building, or so i tot of. When i entered the office, i notice that beside the clock there hung something that looks very much like the thai buddha tailsman.. mabbe its just me.. "
but boss of HSBC believe all this?" i tot..

soon work was delegated to me as they are taking turns to clear their leave during the xmas period.. and as i was in-charge of a dept where the cut off time was 430pm.. usually by then i would be taking a short rest before closing the a/cs.. thats where i notice something.. the tailsman has four pieces and was hung in such a way that it faces the four corners.. perhaps it could be just a blessing? but apparently not...

As i usually finish my work at 730pm, where i would happily left for home... however, my officer, same age as me(sigh!), would have to stay back to tally the accounts i have closed for the day..

1 fine day, due to some problematic customer, the accounts were closed at 8, meaning my officer has to roughly finish work and leave at ard 10? But that wasnt the best part.. of the sudden, she jioed me for dinner after work!!

Female's request, ok la since nothing on, i agreed.. meanwhile i noticed the security guards started to patrol the levels often.. ... blah blah.. to cut the story short... at ard 930+ the security guard suddenly entered and remind us that its 930.. now this really bugs me..

It was not until 945 that we hastely left the office.. During our dinner, wat she about to tell me was stunning..

For some kakis here might still rem... last time the HSBC used to be at the Macdonald House beside Atrium.. but that place used to be haunted.. as the building(forgot the name) was demolished for the building of Atrium and the NEL.. HSBC shifted to the new house at lvl 3..

however the hauntings did not stop.. On the first month of the new shift, a particular was doing OT till wee hours in the morning... and after 1 of the staff returned from e washroom, she suddenly was not herself.. she started to dump everything on the table to floor.. and her facial expression start to shift and distorted.. after some commotion, she finally collapsed. When she was sent to hospital the docs cant find anything wrong with her.. and sadly, with such a big hooha created she was dismissed under table kind la...

But the coming months to come.. another manager stayed back to OT till 2am in the morning.. but this time round, she resigned on her own accord.. close frens of hers started to probe into it as they all know she's a very hardworking and ambitious person.. But to everyone shock, she suddenly weeped.

On the night she do OT, she suddenly hear noises outside.. knowing that only she is ard(the lights outside is left with corridor lights oni..), she went out to check.. but a few times she noticed nothing. It was the final straw that she decided to go out to check ard.. But when she was totally out of the office.. the noise came from her OWN office! but what she saw, she nv told anyone till the day she left.

Till now, after hearing this, my goosebumps cant help but stand...

Since then similar eerie experiences happened to those who OT after the wee hours.. in fact one of the officers who is a believer of Buddhism started to request the mgmt to allow him to put up the talisman in the office.. In lucky fact, the mgmt agreed.. but other arrangements was also done..

Weirdest thing was, now whoever wants to OT has to inform the guards at the reception on the ground floor, where they will dispatch one of them to stay with u. But the common practice is that, no OT after 10...

Our friends had book a chalet at aloha changi for our sec school reunion. We had agreed on who would go there first and etc to "book" in..

My friend was first.. So he arrived there and checked out the place..

Just then we called him..

"Hey Isk! so how? The chalet nice anot?"
"Yea.. Very nice! Got 3 room and 2 floor.. kitchen also quite big siar!"
"Wah u say so nice.. So got swimming pool huh? (scarstically)"
"NO lar. Just that when u open ur window see outside then there got Old Changi Hospital liao"
"... ISK!! CANNOT LIDDAT!!!"
"Really... we got a nice view of OCH"
"..."


So we arrived there.. checked out the place.. was really awesome! the amount of space we had plus the other chalet next to us was not in use.. we could make as much noise as we wanted!

But of course the fact that OCH is just behind us kinda spooks us out..

The first night nothing eventful happened.. Safe for those ba pok we saw, we didnt encounter anithing unnatural.

Friday

Morning..
Group of friends arrive.. Someone suggested going to OCH to check things out..

We went in the afternoon.. even in the afternoon, there were places that light couldnt pierce.

Late afternoon, another group of friends arrive
Persuade us to lead the way for them..

Went for another round.. Oh yea.. u heard them saying there was a guard guarding over the building??

When we went there we saw the guard pedaling away on a bike..

Nice assurence...

Later that nite, we got bored.. Someone suggest we all take a hike up OCH..

Total of 25 ppl gathered.. I lead the way as i had visited OCH the most time.. And i carried the only torchlight.

I reached the top of the stairs. noted that there were wire blocking our way.. Held my light there for the ppl to see and cross over..

2 malay couples stopped at the bottom of the stairs and said they were too tired to continue.. After the trip then did they tell us that they had already saw figures floating above us.

We continued into the first Building.. Lead them thru the areas like a tour guide.. the stair was horriblely cramped.. Spooky too..

From the first building, we continued into the second building.. In the second building, there was Paths where i had never seen before in the morning.. a quick consultation withe my other friends reveal that they didnt remember seeing this path..
We quickly moved on..

Third building.. this is the place that is the highest peak of OCH. there is also a seperate wing of a single building, which famously was thought to have cults performing their ritual there.. The single building has a wooden interior, with a big Star encompassed by a circle drawn on the floor..

Proceed on to the rest of the second floor.. Lead them to this tiny room abt the size of a toilet cubicle... the walls are filled with thousand of dog paw-print.. looks quite interesting.. Noted a pool of dried blood at one corner.. On discussion later on some had said they saw a pool of wet blood whereas other's saw dried..

Was about to leave the cubicle when i hear a loud slamming above us.. Me and Iskandar heard it. The rest was oblivious..

We told them to quickly shut up.. We knew something was up..

Then.. it seems, nothing more.. we continued into the sidewalks when suddenly.. every kept silent and we all heard the booming sound above us again...

Now how the sound sounds like?

Take 3 of the plumpest guy u know of and make them jump above us..

That how it sounded like...

Slightly spooked out, i then ask them to head out..

When we were outside at this field next to to the third building, they asked what shld they do now? I turned back to the building and realised something. The building has only two storey.. We were on the second storey.. How the F can something boom above us??

We quickly went back..

Later on in the night we sat down and chatted about OCH.. So it seems, that most of them saw or felt something too.. this particular guy saw an old lady grinnin at him frm behind the glass panel.. thinking nothing much of it.. he continued on.. When he passed this door, he looked inside.... To see the whole figure of the lady staring at him (btw, he had a death in the family recently)

ever heard ur mom born between 1940-1950s always tell ur sis not to open door to strangers at nite?

Initally i dunno why .. till many years back when i start to hear this urban legend of a lady bomoh where everyone calls her "Kum Kum"

soon i researched and managed to piece a likely story about her...


Once, when singapore was still a fishing village.. there's this lady bomoh who has great powers to cure the villagers and fishermans of all illness and ward off bad luck.. But time was cruel on everyone that becoz she spent most of her youth helping out ppl.. she fell in love for someone late in the age..

although she know various spells and curses to make a man fall for her.. she vowed that she will never used it on the one she truly love.. but sadly.. 1 day, the man openly rejected her for that she n him are having a big age gap...

filled with anger, she traded her good heart for a spell that can restore her youth and beauty... that is to drink the bergin blood of young woman. Soon the village has many mysterious deaths of young woman and she was consulted by the chief of the village..

as many deaths followed, she was soon beaten by her fellow senior bomoh and was condemn to a forest that was where she laid a curse that she will lurk on this earth for as long as her lover bones remain..(mabbe her lover BK her?).. then without the blood, she restored to her old ugly self....

thats why last time when sg still got kampung, occasionally deaths of young woman who are bergin still exists, where their body would be found at their door steps with the blood sucked dry..

however, 1 young lady managed to escape, and recounted the whole story to be told todae.........

There will be this old lady that will knock on the doors of young ladies where she will be trying to say "Selam Marikum(sorry if i spell wrong..)" which means something like hello in malay..

but however.. she would oni go "Kum...#@&#kum..." and she will always ask for a glass of plain water from the ger.. it will oni be when the young lady opens the door to hand her the glass of water that she noticed something was amiss as weeds and grass grew from the old lady.. before she know it...

her last picture she saw was the face of the old lady with her mouth wide open .......

this was still quite widely spread where theres a story from a particular gers sch that this pair of gers go to the toilet and spotted an old lady sucking the used sanitary pads from the bin they normally throw to...
