Lag spikes in CS:GO

Hi, I've been having lag spikes in cs:go

i don't really know wads the issue, but i'm sure my system can handle it.

The settings are all maxed out, i get around 150-200+ frames..

Just that randomly there will be some spikes, and it will start spiking from there and i have to restart the game.. when i restart it will be fine again.

What's the issue?

lan connection, no issue with ping.

sometimes is due to the server. but now okay leh. just ended DM

maybe usb issue like mouse kb all those might be involved
u try lower ur polling rate of ur mouse to 500. try

yes, there are also SG servers in competitive mode

Did you all transit from 1.6? Feels so different, and basically played like a noob. Guess my 1.6 style don't quite really transfer over. So noob that I can't tell who hacks who doesn't.

Yes I transited from 1.6/CSO too, played like a noob too at the start. But you will get the hang of it with more practice, spray pattern quite similar to 1.6 still, it's just that my eyes is not so used to having CSGO/source decals/maps/skins and I have to kick the habit of duck-walking.

I'm a sniper, using only the scout. Prefer scout because of its mobility. Used to just use strafe in opposite direction to stop, zoom and shoot immediately. But the blurred scope is making things weird. I dunno how to explain but, the aiming is also a bit weird too. Like trying to keep the crosshair on target seems different from 1.6. Maybe gotta just play a little more.
