hello all, any recommended hotel at Lake Toya? I have a family of 5 and hope to get a cheaper accom there to stay overnight. It seems that it is still unavailable to book for Oct 2017 now. Thanks in advance!

I stayed at Lake Toya Nonokaze in Autumn 2013.
Was not bad. reasonable price. Their public onsen not so many people and got nice lake view.

At night also got river fireworks.

Stayed at Granville Daiwa Annex last Dec, although it's cheap and free breakfast but take note that the toilet is public shared at every floor you stay and nowhere to bath except the onsen area which is very small. The view of the lake was fantastic but that's about it though.

Would have preferred to spend a little more for better equipped hotels which is like around ~$50/night more or so.

which other hotels would you recommend for that top up? as we would like to have private toilets.
