Lan Port Issues

i am running a z690 aero g ddr 4 intel 12th gen on my desktop, recently i am not able to be connected to the internet via my lan port on my desktop, my mobo has wifi and its working, i checked the lan port of my desktop, its showing a blinking orange, i suspect my mobo lan port kapoot

Make sure your LAN driver is latest from Gigabyte website not Windows update.
Cuz during that era there were a known issues with Intel i225 Onboard LAN/NIC card.
If still fails than have to update the LAN NVM ROM.

check your windows update if u updated the drivers and check under device manager if there is a !

i formatted my ssd and re-installed windows 11, i can receive internet via my lan port now but its kinda weird as its flashing orange ......

Normal to flash orange. Means it's working

Also, please download all the drivers you need from your motherboard website. Look up your motherboard name and download it all from there. I suspect driver issues which caused all your initial issues in the first place
