I've tried calling to landlines from 3 different mobiles to DBS/UOB/OCBC but can't get through.
Downdetector is reporting issues with landlines as well.

anyone else experiencing it as well?

ST FB:

We are aware that some of our customers, including public service hotlines, may be experiencing intermittent fixed voice service issues. Our engineers are working urgently to resolve the matter. We apologise for the inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience.

true. I though some businesses will at least use starhub or m1 fixed line. Seems like all rely on Singtel.

Time for business to also consider voIP. Like digital lines, our fibre broadband, now all fixed lines are voip too.

Yes, surprisingly seems like there is no BCP/redundancy in place.
Litearlly if Singtel is taken out, SG's comms is I would say, partially down.

The hours-long Singtel landline outage last month was caused by a "technical issue" of a network component, Senior Minister of State for the Ministry of Digital Development and Information Janil Puthucheary said on Monday (Nov 11), citing preliminary findings.

A backup system also did not kick in as intended.

"IMDA holds key service providers, like Singtel, to high service standards and requires them to conduct regular audits on their network and infrastructure," he said."
