LoL. im running on i3 and 2 gb of ram. the gameplay is not very smooth even when running on lowest possible settings. so i was wondering either adding a graphics card or increasing the ram.

I don't think you can add/remove a video card in a laptop, it's part of the motherboard from what I know. At most you can add a SSD or add more RAM, both of them will improve loading/response time but neither of them will improve the FPS by a huge amount.

but by increasing the ram amount it will more or less reduce the choppiness of the gameplay right? cos whenever i get into a team fight ram usage shoots up to 100%

it shoots up to 100% its becos u dun have a gpu... plain and simple. that machine is not meant to play games.

U bought a non-gaming laptop with no dedicated graphic card..thus, there is no allocated space for adding one. Ur only option is to buy a new laptop tat suits ur gaming needs.

On most laptops, unfortunately the graphics are soldered onto the motherboard to cut cost. So there is no chance to upgrade the graphic solution.

If you are a gamer, then its better you consider getting a higher end laptop if it is within your budget, as graphics that barely make it in most games now will most likely fall behind in a year or less.

AMD is always a bad choice for laptop.

some laptop that come with no graphics card you can add I suppose because it's just another removable chip like the cpu... I don't know if there are shops that can help you with putting it or do they require soldering, but it might be possible. Just very expensive.
