Try this and printscr the info of your hdd.

Win+R -> key 'sysinfo32' -> den click on components and look for your hdd.

As for the application that is using your hdd to 100%, what is that app?

One of my friend had this problem. I helped her fixed this problem by changing the Virtual Memory to the windows recommended value. Default option is to let the system automatically manage it.

It may or may not help, but can't hurt to try if you have not done it :p

Steps below:
1) Open Windows Explorer
2) Right-click "This PC"
3) Click "Advanced System Setting" on the top left corner.
4) Click "Settings" for Performance
5) Go to "Advanced" tab.
6) Click "Change" button
7) Uncheck "Automatically ......."
8) Click the circle dot beside "Custom Size".
9) For both "Initial Size" and "Maximum Size", put the recommended value shown at the bottom part.
9) Press "OK" button and restart PC.
