Laptop Advice for Work

Hi all! Specially created an account just to seek help/advice on this.

I’m looking to get a windows laptop for work (banking sector), and after some research I managed to shortlist 3 that are most widely recommended:
1. HP Spectre x360
2. Dell XPS
3. Lenovo X1C Gen 9

This will mainly be used for work (heavy excel and ppt usage), but will sometimes use for light casual and entertainment too. Really conflicted on which to get, so any advice would be greatly appreciated! Feel free to suggest other brands too (no budget)

I suggest you find a store that has those laptops and try the feel.

Xps and carbon x are both top of the lines.

So it depends on taste and the nuisance of the laptop design. My wife got the Lenovo x carbon. It is great but the function key gets in the way. Like I thought I was click the window key but I hit the function key. Is it a deal breaker? Not really. But if I can choose I would choose something else.

These are things where no one can tell you until you take a look at the laptop yourself. Type a page, open and close, see if it fits in your backpack or whatever you will carry in. Then decide. If you get the 14" model, it mostly soldered ram. Just make sure you get enough for your needs.

For me, I'm looking at Dell Inspiron 2 in 1 with Windows 11.

Looking at Asus too but Asus still selling with Windows 10

thinkpad x1 carbon gen 9 got 32gb ram , can last for many years.

check warranty, if 3rd party carry in, don’t bother…siam far away
