if your on a budget, you can always get it in the coming pc show. Retailers should be clearing stock on the cheap in preparation for haswell. If your or your a gf cares more about performance, i would suggest waiting for NOT haswell but wait for AMD richlands laptop to start rolling in. Speculation for richland laptops are "more or less same performance as haswell laptops but at a cheaper price tag, potentially longer battery life in some cases** and thinner notebooks due to the gpu and cpu on same silicon."

what do you mean by sch use? simple document manipulation? graphic creation? programming or..?

AMD richlands is the latest range of APUs that AMD will be releasing this year. A traditional laptop consists of 2 different types. Either its a CPU + dGPU(eg. i7QMs + gtx680m) or its a CPU + iGPU(eg. intel cpus + intel HD). A APU in short is a CPU+iGPU but with the iGPU hitting performance levels of a dGPU. This could translate into cheaper pricing, thinner notebooks, longer battery life and better thermal solution..all that without sacrificing performance.

From what i know, the 1st few richland laptop is out le, one model i can rmb is the msi gx60. However, its not released to singapore market yet..
