Laptop Battery ?

Hi,

I have a laptop which has been serve me for the past 2 year. Recently the laptop Win 7 is displaying the laptop's battery error code -> Error "Consider Replacing Your Battery" Appears in Windows screen. Is it true that my battery is spoil or do i need to do any configuration ?? If let's said the battery is really spoil then should i get the original battery or the compatible ones or maybe perphave a new laptop ???

you let the laptop run on battery, see how long it lasts... usually if Windows display warning means the laptop battery only can hold less than 50% of its original charge (or maybe more, can't remember)... if you don't really use the battery, then you could just ignore the warning...
