Laptop below $1,000

[drianist]

Hello peeps,

can anyone recommend me a laptop with good existing review?

my budget is $1,000 and below

my main concern of having the laptop is as below:

- good battery life
- main usage on office related work
- video editing on-the-go (kept minimal as i have a PC for it)
- must not be a MAC
- Do not want ACER/FUJITSU/TOSHIBA (bad experience)
- Good screen quality
- portable , weight not a huge issue
- 7th or 8th gen core
- 14" and above

currently looking at dell and asus, but open to more brands out there with good customer service experience.

Thanks all in advance!
