Morning!

For this range, there's actually very few laptops available at this price range (brand new that is).

If your usages are just Microsoft office and nothing much else, the Lenovo is be sufficient for your usage.

Coincidentally I had actually looked at the said Lenovo last week.. what struck me was that it has a pretty nice bright screen.

Cheers

Morning!

If I were to up my budget to $800 which laptop will u be able to recommend me?

I used to be using a Asus K43SD i5 2450M, GeForce 610M. ~$800

But sadly it broke down, thus I would like to get a slightly better performing than my previous K43SD at the same price range
:s12:

(should be possible right, since the spec/price was a few years ago ><)

TIA

IMHO, No, that mediocre 1366x768 TN panel screen will remind you everyday that you should have spend a little more to have a better quality screen. But if you are connecting it to an external monitor then spec wise it should be enough. I think there are 1080p laptop at around $800
