Hi everyone, I own an Asus G51 laptop but recently after shutting it down, it refuses to turn on. It will simply light on for a half second then shut off. Originally suspected it to be faulty power supply however after going to have it repaired at PC clinic, it lasted barely 1 month before dying again. Anyone can help?

G51 is pretty old right? Seriously, having your laptop repaired by some tom dick and harry will cost you more in the long run because there is a very high chance he will break more things that he will fix. You can take out the hard disk and connect to another computer using a HDD dock or external HDD enclosure and retrieve it that way.

Then the next laptop you buy, make sure you buy extended warranty for however long you want to use it for.
