Hi guys, i just experienced this greenish tint on my laptop display. occasionally i will see purplelines across the screen. Once in a while the screen will revert to normal.

Any idead if its a screen issue or some loose cable issue.

Possible cable loose but dunno how you going to replug it.

Try to get an external monitor and see if the graphics is ok.

Could be a failing onboard graphics issue, display issue (flex connection / controller / inverter )

Try the following
- gradually open / close the screen of your laptop and see if you can replicate the fault by doing so. This could mean it could be an internal flex cable issue - torn / loose etc.

- as mentioned by a forumer here as well, if you have access to an external monitor, and see if there are tints or lines mentioned. That would point to us that is a a graphics issue. Else, duplicate your screen and have a look, if one has lines and the external is clear, it is a screen assembly issue.

- Check if there are error messages thy pop up often - if you see constant message pop ups such as Intel / Nvidia display adapter has stopped working it is indicative that it could be a graphics issue.

Solution:
For graphics card issues - you can try reinstalling Drivers to see if it could work (on the chance that it might fix corrupted graphics Drivers). Could be a perm fix or a temp fix.

For hardware issues, unfortunately you would have to make a warranty claim / repair it yourself
