is the new asus r5 faster than the lenovo r7
Technically, both are ryzen 5 series. Performance wise, i am not sure but one thing is for sure
7520U is a 15w tdp chip whereas the 150 (refresh or rebranded 7535HS) is a ~35w chip
Higher wattage tend to be more power hungry but higher chance of being more powerful(?)
Ultimately it is dependent on what you need to do on it. If it's just a simple presentation, excel.. both works.
Not entirely sure what is required for poly business course anyways.
Found the spec listing for the laptops

Personal choice,
Charging
- i would go for the newer asus laptop that has USB C charging as the slim 3 still uses the old barrel jack
- While the psref specs say that the only Type C port on that lenovo supports USB PD, not sure if it can do that
EDIT -
The same 15" lenovo on courts with the same specs (unsure if it's touch screen) has the 3 Years premium care

Now knowing that there is a 3 years premium care version on courts (not sure if can check with them first?), i would get the lenovo one
