Laptop for school work

Hello would like to look for a laptop that cost about 800 dollars. mostly used for school work. any suggestions? TIA!

Sorry I know next to nothing about the current laptop market but the least you could do is to tell the others of what kind of load is the laptop gonna take on...

something close to an ultra book? will the coming IT show have any good deals? should i wait or just go ahead and buy it? budget is around 1k .screen size not so impt, battery life if possible able to last 4-5 hrs ( will only be using for light app) TIA

Get haswell at least. If haswell cant give you the hrs you required, others are more unlikely

It save a lot of power as compared to other generation processor but the overall power saving is not much considering power is also consumed by other components like LED screen.


People tend to miss out one thing: Battery capacity also affects the endurance.
So instead of getting more efficient components also do consider laptop with larger battery capacity.
