Football manager dont need a gaming laptop to play. It is just a simple simulation game that runs just fine with an integrated graphics. On top of that, considering that you wanna buy a gaming laptop for work related, you are likely to carry heavy laptop to work. If you drive, it isnt bad. If you do daily commuting, you will not like it.

Seperate work and play. Dont mix them together. But thankfully, if football manager is the only game that you wanna play, i suggest looking at something from lenovo thinkbook 14p with 6500h or 6800h and rdna igpu. This will definitely be a better choice for you.

Many thanks for the recommendation

As I’m not well versed with hardware specs, is Lenovo thinkbook 14p capable for games like the sims too?

Sims are generally low graphics requirement. Last check the rdna igpu should be sufficient for it to run.

Gaming and laptop don't gel well together, unless you willing to pay for it.
