I need to get a laptop for work that will be running critrix receiver off the cloud.
i'm currently using a macbook air which works well 80% of the time except for slight lag when i have too many programs open. However, the problem with air is that it doesnt have a network port and the adapter sometimes isnt able to connect at some offices i go to and i have to tether from my phone which almost makes it unusable for extended period of time.
what would be a more important factor for such a usage? RAM or CPU or SSD drive?
My budget is no more than 1k, network port is a must, purely for work, no games. Maybe occasional videos. Preferably not too heavy and good battery life.
any recommendations?
