Laptop Gaming on battery

Hi, What are the expectations for a gaming laptop on battery? I get 60-70 FPS plugged in on ultra for AAA titles but once it’s on battery it drops to at best 20 FPS on low settings, even for games like Civ 6. Forget about AAA games. Is that normal ? I know people say you should game plugged in but is the performance drop supposed to be so drastic, or is this a faulty battery ? I’ve changed and tweaked the battery and power management settings as much as I can ... thanks !

Normal for any gaming laptop.
Take note if you set to performance mode, not only battery
will drain fast but battery will wear out faster.
If want full performance, best would be plug in.

All gaming laptops are tuned in that way >950 Even if you set to full performance, you will only get 20fps at most.
