Just would like to check for laptop hdd caddy. Can I just buy those $4 $5 from lazada. Or is there any difference from branded? Any recommendation?

Any brand is fine. Since mine also no brand up till now still can use without any issues.

But do make sure that it's compatible to your laptop.

Not about the brand, you need to determine the thickness of the hard drive, some laptop model can only use 7mm drive whereas some are 9mm thick HDD which can also use 7mm with a 2mm shim.

Oh wait, that's what Huawei and Xiaomi phones are doing.
