laptop lcd screen is spoilt.

lcd is spoilt but when connected to a monitor it still works.

I am thinking to send it to the service center.
Any recommendation on the data on the HDD ?

thinking if i should wipe the HDD clean before sending or just take out the HDD, using the laptop for work so contains sensitive stuff.

then i hate reinstalling back the applications later on.

what do you all do before sending ?

basically, you're just sending your laptop to change the lcd.panel and not doing any diagnostics. no need to remove HDD.

you can give the service center a call and check wirh them if it.is possible to order the lcd panel and do the change on the spot.

if you feel unsafe then dont go to those pc repair shopd. go straight to the authorized service center
