laptop making a strange noise

My old potato laptop (at least 3 years old) started making this sound. (Where or how do i attached a recording? I can't seem to attach an audio file here. Do you have a site to recommend me to?) And it will auto shutdown after 5-10 mins. Laptop isn't hot.

No, it doesn't. And oh ya i totally forgot about mediafire but it's okay. It's officially dead pretty much. Imma just take my hdd to act as external storage that's all. Thanks again!

Sound is made by mechanical parts. So it is either harddisk, fan or ODD of speakers.

Not to difficult to find out where the noise comes from usually.

You can always take out the harddisk and sell off the faulty laptop.
