Hello all,

Looking for a laptop recommendation, as titled. I'm looking for a lightweight one with light photoshopping (or GIMPing) and gaming (Dota 2, etc) capabilities. Not limited by a budget (of course, the cheaper the better lol). Max 2 kilos, if possible.

I've shortlisted the following:

Dell XPS 13
HP Spectre x360
Lenovo Yoga 910
Aftershock P-14
Aftershock Prime 15

Hesitant on the Aftershocks because I can't find many reviews online for reference.

Thank you all in advance!

I am also shopping for laptop replacing my 8-year-old PC, similar requirement as you. Light photo editing and play only Dota.

After did some viewing and price check, I shortlisted these two Asus:
UX430UQ - Dedicated GT 940MX, light & slim body (1.25kg) with 14" LCD.
UX410UQ - Similar spec to UX430UQ but thicker body (1.4kg), so with more ports (USB & HDMI) and additional 2.5" bay for future SSD HDD upgrade. This model can upgrade memory also while UX430UQ memory is soldered.

The only hesitation now is the GT 940MX maybe not powerful enough for Dota. Read some online article some people commented it is sufficient, but need to lower down the quality. Not sure this "lower" is within my tolerance. Besides that, when I use it at home, I will connect to external bigger LCD, this may stress the display performance (the review I read only playing Dota on the laptop screen).

So, I am waiting the launch of UX550. If it is chio and not very heavy, I will consider that for the GTX 1050 Ti.

Update if you buy any laptop before me. So that I can listen your feedback on the Dota. :D
