Ok, my dad's birthday is coming real soon and I hope to get him a replacement for his current netbook which I find is running way too slow. As I'm not familiar with the recent processors, and had just enlisted recently, I do not have enough time to do some research on my own. So I hope you guys can give me some recommendations on any good for value laptop. My dad doesn't really do anything with his netbook other than watching dramas on funshion, etc.
My budget would be something lesser than $600. Screen size as big as possible since he have "lao hua yan". OS has to be windows 7 since I don't think he can handle windows 8. Would be good if I can get the laptop from Courts or Harvey Norman. TIA!
