Looking for a laptop for the wife. Mainly for web surfing and Office. Not looking to spend more than $850 but will expand budget if justifiable. Thanks!

Hp stream 11 or 13 shld be good enough . Battery life quite good too .

any help guys? now looking at sub-$1000 laptops. currently looking at the lenovo G50, Dell Inspiron 5000 Series, Acer E5 and Asus UX305. Any input would be appreciated

UX305 is one slim and sexy machine. I would get that if I want it to be very portable. But if using mainly at home, any of them is fine. Dell seems good too.

ended up with a lenovo u31. almost as sleek as the ux305 (though not as sexy) but with horsepower.
