Hi,

I am looking for a laptop for mainly work and gaming on the side. Been researching around and kinda decided on these min specs if possible

CPU: i5
Screen: 13"
Gpu: 640m
Weight: around 2KG

I would most prob upgrade the ram to 16GB myself or if there is a cheap upgrade bundle I dont mind.

Harddisk I will also upgrade myself to the hybrid types of best is got msata so I can have OS on the msata ssd and storage on the normal mechanical type

I will also be gaming on the laptop but not gonna expect it to run like my desktop. I see the nvidia 640M is good for stuff like Diablo3 and other games like guild wars 2 on lower settings but don't mind a equal grade AMD card as well.

Budget is under 2k if possible but cheaper better since I gotta factor in the upgrading of HDD and RAM.

I know I am kind of fussy so thanks in advance!

opps... i typed in the weight wrongly, should be around 2kg.

I did take a look at aftershock but its kinda heavy and the 11" is kinda too small :(

Good to consider Samsung Chronos 7. Downside is, same as Sony, one of the 4GB ram is soldered on the board, so max ram is 12GB. Do note most Asus laptop, comes with graphic with slower memory. So typically, its gonna be DDR3 instead of DDR5. The difference in performance due to this is substantial. ;)
