Hi Folks

I have been looking for this laptop's addon device at some computer shops in Singapore but to no availability.
No doubt the gadget have been selling online, i still prefer to buy from the physical shops.

It should be quite safe to buy online.

It's just that if there are issues, warranty service is difficult because it's costly to ship overseas for repair. So you better pray there are no issues.

I've reviewed a few of these products.

If you really want to buy, definitely get one that can let you tilt the display at different angles. The one you listed seems to be able to do so. Some Youtube reviewers are tricky and do not show you the tilt angle of the display.

Also get good colours (100% sRGB) and high brightness (200 nits in real world is considered really good). Usually actual brightness is 20% less than advertised.

Also check whether the display has to be attached permanently to your laptop. If so, it means even if you want to use the laptop alone without the extra displays, you can't.

While such products are convenient, the standalone external display is just way more versatile and has better colours and brightness overall.

I've tested a few from other brands.

If you want to bring it out with your laptop, it's gonna make your laptop significantly heavier and more bulky.

If you're just using the laptop at home, just get those slim portable displays. If you want to bring to office to use, compare prices of two portable displays vs the laptop extra screen.
