laptop vs desktop

I want to get a computer for gaming.
mainly the games are Sims, archeage, age of wushu.
I'm wondering getting a laptop or desktop will be better. for laptop I heard alien mx 12 is good.
so I'm wondering for the price of tat, would it be better to use it to box a desktop instead. also whether tat laptop is suitable for the above games.

If u use 2k to buy a high end desktop (self build) you can easily get spec that are way better than alienware m14x and aftershock x15. Do you intend to bring your gaming outside? If not just get yourself a desktop, if so i will recommend aftershock x15 cause alienware m14x is not really valuable for money it the brand that make it so expensive.

depends on ur preferance, laptop will be more portable and the games that u are playing are not very intensive. Any entry-midrange gpu can handle them.
