What are the brands that provide international warranty for their laptops purchased from Amazon US and used in SG/MY?

I see that the prices on Amazon US are so much more competitive than SG.
Just concerned on the warranty part.

I am considering this.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0862269YP/

Or any recommendations for a budget laptop, mainly for light word, excel processing and web browsing.

Thanks

Lenovo US? If so then no warranty locally. For lenovo to be competitive in sg just head to lenovo sg website and ask for coupons. It should be competitive after the coupon. And with warranty given.

Wah. I have tried eMMC memory + Celeron. I can safely say. No point. Dont waste your time. Imo it is far too slow. Even windows update is terribly slow at times.

How much are you willing to spend? May be a budget in mind would be easier for us to recommend something to you.

What you pay is what you get. That 200 dollar laptop is cheap bc they use cheap components (mmc).

If you budget is around 500 bucks you can get something decent and entry level. Or a used one.

Amazon Lenovo laptop has no warranty in Singapore.

Lenovo local Thinkpad E495, $953 with AMD Ryzen 5 3500U Processor, 8GB Ram, 512MB M.2 storage and 3 years on site warranty is the best choice. Get it from Lenovo website and deselect all add on except 3 years on site warranty.

Get it from Singapore Lenovo website. Pay additional to upgrade from 8Gb to 16Gb, or processors if possible.

For electronics bought from Amazon, always remember buy additional insurance under Square Trade as it will help you cover additional repair costs not covered by the manufacturer's warranty.

Like other extended warranties, SquareTrade coverage only begins when the manufacturer’s warranty ends (typically up to one year from the date of purchase). If there’s an issue with your item while the original warranty is still active, your claim will be referred to the manufacturer. Alternately, if your plan includes Accident Protection, SquareTrade covers your item from day one.

Square trade is a US comp right? So is this mean when your laptop breaks, you have to ship it to US?

I see the offices are in Europe. So that is still far away.

A bit of a pain and hassle to do so.

Remember that things like dead pixel are not covered by warranty anyway...
