Laptop will freeze when restart

My Laptop (old) will freeze whenever i click on restart button on windows 8. I will need to force a shut down and turn it on again.

Laptop Model: Lenovo Y430
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo CPU P8600 @ 2.40 GHz
Ram DDR3 4GB
OS: Windows 8 64 bit

Anyone can give me any inputs. Please Help
