Any recommendation for a laser jet printer? Im currently studying and require a lot of printing (double sided, ink efficiency and can print colour also). No budget set at the moment but will appreciate a cost worthy printer. Thanks!

I’m using a Fuji Xerox colour printer 225FW for 2 - 3 years. It is a copier, scanner, fax and has duplex printing. Duplex printing is not auto, need to reinsert the printed page 1 back into the tray for page 2 printing.

It was about $500+ then.

Toner is about $90+ each at Challenger but manage to source a deal at Qoo10 selling at $60+ during the last round.

If you dont need colours and copier features, it will be cheaper too.

I found it more 'economical' to buy separate scanner (stand-alone) plus a printer instead of those multi-function printers. In that case it is cheaper when you want to change the printer. Scanner can last quite long.

the main cost driver is the colour printing and duplex printing. Cheapest is B&W laser printer, add a bit more can get scanner cum B&W laser printer.
