Hi, do u mind sharing how many day of leave needed for the whole process?
I did the procedure on Monday and MC was given till the next Monday.
By then, vision is about 70%-ish, able to see generally well. But if you are working on computers, need to enlarge the font to be able to see clearly.

Personally I took 2 weeks off from work.

1 good thing about LASIK i guess to me is the fast recovery time so if you are doing on a friday, should be good to go on monday but might be abit blurry still cause of the "lens" they put after the surgery. Once the lens got removed after a week or so, it should be much better.
The procedure can all be done in 1 setting. Scans done in the morning then evening will be the surgery time.

I did mine 2years ago though haha.
Hi there! Can’t PM you - but do you still have a referral code? Thanks!

Hi Everyone!

Just contributing my experience here since I constantly read through forums when deciding what to do with my eyes back then.

I recently did transprk procedure with Dr Tony Ho at Clearvision. My degree/astig was 650/250 roughly for both eyes.

Day of procedure:
Very nervous! They put alot of numbing eye drops so the procedure wasn't painful. But very scary for me due to the sound effects and the feeling of wanting to close your eyes but can't. Dr Tony Ho was very reassuring during the procedure itself.
It hurts like hell - to the point I was nauseous about 30mins after the procedure. I faster pop in a painkiller and went to nap.

Day 1-4:
Not painful anymore, thank god. But the discomfort is real. My eyes were heavy/puffy/very hard to keep them open. I close my eyes about 90% of the time and listen to podcast/audiobook/sleep. Vision was about 20% during these days - kind of like the vision without your glasses (before doing the procedure) but clearer than that.

Day 5:
Finally! The discomfort is gone! Eyes can open fully. Vision is around 70%? Can generally look at stuff but not those small fonts. Minor minor discomfort as the lens is still in and gets abit dry.

Day 8:
Removal of bandage lens. Vision is about 70-80% after removal. Can see generally well but not small fonts. Abit sad because watching drama is still a blur ):
Eyes is still quite dry - just stick to the numerous eyedrops regime and should be good.

My follow-ups were all with Dr Huang, he is very nice, friendly and explains things clearly! He mention vision will slowly recover about 90% in the next week or so. Full recovery will take months - as your corneal starts to heal fully.

Fingers crossed!
Just wonder why your choice for PRK rather than LASIK / SMILE for such high degree ? a lot of suffering and very slow visual recovery the higher the degree / astig.

thanks and recover well.

If anyone needs a code for Dr Lynn Yeo for ICL please PM me, if you post here I won't know if you have found it or not as I don't check this often.

If I'm not wrong, you don't have to find a referral by Dr Yeo to get the discount, you just need ANY referral from EEC.
Hi! Could I get a referral for Dr Lynn Yeo? Can't seem to PM you! Thanks!

Hi Everyone !!!

Would like to share my iLasik experience with Dr. Natasha Lim.
My 400 myopia, 50 lao hua, and 200 astigmatism.

13 Oct:
Was try to book appointment with Dr. Julien, however the queue is way too long and was told available slot is on next year February.
Then I contact Dr. Natasha clinic and found that I could perform eye assessment and directly perform iLasik at the same day. So I book my appointment at 15 Oct, 9am.

Day of procedure:
As same as all other, I am very nervous ! Somehow with friendly stuff, I just went through all the eye assessments and the surgery start at 11.30AM. Three numbing eye drops on each eye and wait for it to effective. When the surgery start, Dr. Natasha put a suction cup on the eye to create flap at the LHS machine. Once it was done, I was move to RHS machine to perform the Lasik and put back the flap. I also did the cross-Linking.
When I booked a Grab and on my way home, I feel some pain on my right eye and once I reach home, immediately I put the eye drops/antibiotic/anti-inflammatory and continue.
The vision is blur at this time.

Day 2:
The right eye continue to felt some pain and felt like a sand is inside my right eye. Eye drop continue.
Vision still blur but left eye feel much better.

Day3:
First follow up and once the protective lens was removed, Dr. found that my right eye need to re-adjust the flap due to the dry eye.
I was told to put eye drop frequently on the right eye max interval of 2 hours after the adjustment. A new protective lens was put on my right eye.
NOTE to everyone: If you feel dry eye symptoms, put eye drop frequently to prevent such situation. Also contact your Dr for further action.

Day4-5:
Vision on the left eye are recover much better but the right eye vision still blur.
Now is the vision is about 60-70% at left eye and 40-50% on right eye.

Day 6:
Went to 2nd follow up. The protective lens was removed and right eye seem recover better now.
Was given a cream to prevent dry eye for right eye.
Vision still about 80% at the left eye and 60-70% on the right eye.

Till now:
Vision on my left eye is about 80-90% and right eye is 70-80%.
Still blur-ish on the right eye.
The next follow up is 6 week after the 2nd follow up.
So let see.
