Lasik eye Surgery

Today I just went to an optometrist.

Left eye: 0 degree, 50 astig
Right eye 75 degree, 50 astig.

Result quite different from a year ago..
It seems that my left eye astig 50 cancels out my right eye 75 degrees to 25 degree.

I just hope my left eye doesn't regress otherwise I probably need glasses again.

anyone who did ICL at EEC, what was the damage to the wallet like? I booked ICL surgery at EEC. almost faint-san after seeing the deposit price, but I still Yolo and go ahead with it, just want to get this done. I get this about a 3k+ deposit, does this means I only pay the remaining balance of around 5.5k before or after the surgery? if let's say the total quotation is about 8.5k with GST (e.g. the estimated doctor's fee).

U mean u did ur Lasik a year ago & was perfect 6/6 eyesight at that time?

Hello guys, I would like to share my experience in the eagle eye clinic.

First of all, thanks to the referral information from Vulcanj and Covid_phase2, it helps saving a lot of money. Thanks to hardwarezone form, it shows me the directions to do the surgery. Now it is time to me to give feedback. You guys may learn from my experience

I started by booking the appointment of SMILE for my wife with Dr. Theng, who is very popular and need 3 months waiting time. However, Dr Theng does not do SMILE, as the clinic that Dr Theng works does not have ZEISS VISUMAX. So I changed my wife's appointment to
Dr Lim Wee Kiak
at Royal Square at Novena clinic in 2 weeks. And I booked an appointment with Dr Theng for myself which is 3 months later.



My wife's SMILE surgery goes well, and she got good recovery. She said Dr Lim is really professional and recomendded me to switch to Dr Lim. As I am looking for the sugery of femo-lasik, I sent emails to clinic to check what equipment that they use. The replied emails told me that in the Royal Square clinic, we can choose ZEISS visuMAX plus Swichwind 1050RS, which is actually the topest equipment combinations for femto-lasik, and the other clinics just have 'normal' or 'regular' equipment for lasik. Based on the information collected, I decided to reschedule the appointment with Dr Lim.



The surgery was did a week ago, and everything goes well. My degree is Right 700, left 600 plut 200 ati. I am very happy with the recovery results.For femo-lasik and SMILE, I recommend Dr Lim. If anyone need referral for Dr Lim, sent me a message.

Hi, I am hitting mid 30s soon and decided to do Lasik. During the consultation with the doctor, I asked him what will happen if I have lao hua in the future and he told me he will under correct one of my eyes for about 50 degrees during Lasik to prevent laohua from hitting me so soon. I really wish to have a perfect eyesight after the lasik, will the 50 degrees cause my eyesight to be blurry? Is leaving 50 degrees behind a better choice to prevent lao hua from hitting me so soon? Will the 50 degrees unbalance degree cause me to have lazy eyes?

I am having 0 on left and 75 on right. So far no blurry.

I am reaching 40s, but I choose full correction. I guess it may helps a bit, but if do need, I may choose wearing a glass.

Hi, does anyone have referral for Dr Julian theng or Dr Lynn Yeo?

Also, do people usually choose transprk or smile if they want to reduce astigmatism and still do combat sports after recovery?

Did the doctor also suggested under correcting your right eye to prevent lao hua from setting in so soon? Do your eyes feel normal or your right eye will feel more strained?
