To be honest not much difference, if you use referral quote $300 off.
Or if you pay with credit card also the same $300 off.

I did my LASIK at SHINAGAWA and Dr Lee was really very detailed.
Chose Shinagawa instead of Clearvision. Because Clearvision doctor only talk to me for 1min after I waited so long? and I had to remind him that his assistant who checked my eyes told me that I may need cross-linking-.- (only then he replied, yea, I will add the cross-linking for you). Whereas Dr Lee took almost 10minutes to talk to me and told me I can opt to do cross linking on only one eye and provided me an option.

I had friends who did theirs at W Eye Clinic Singapore and at Eagle Eye Centre.
My friend who did at EEC did not completely recover his sight (still left with 100 Astigmatism) and he is annoyed at how the doctor replied and handle his inquiry.

W Eye clinic seem to have some promotion for sign-on personnel.

PM me if you need the referral code for Shinagawa.
I'm planning to go to the Shinagawa clinic for eye lasik treatment.
Have seen your post and would like to thanks for your kindness in sharing.:)
Can I have your referral quote as well?

Thanks in advance.:s12:

Hi. Can someone kindly share the referral code for Shinagawa to me as well? What is the purpose of this referral code? Do we get anything off of the initial consultation fees or is it just limited to the $300 off of the final procedure cost (which I understand you can get by using credit cards as well?) Can some one kindly clarify. Thank you.

Hi, want to share my Epi-Lasik exp. so far.

Pre-Lasik
Went to three different clinics to do Lasik evaluation cos I wonder if there will be discrepancies from clinic to clinic. Lucky my eyes are all okay with all three doctor giving the go ahead for any procedure.

First,Atlas Eyes,
- Check was pretty comprehensive, they will chat with you to tell you all the risks and the pros and cons of different procedures.
- Dr Chan was pretty professional and very detailed in laying the options for me to choose although he insisted Relex SMILE. Took about 3-4 hours there.

Second clinic was Shinigawa,
- Checks were comprehensive too and surprised that they use iPad to key in the details, quite advance.
- Dr Lee suggested Intra Lasik but I was not keen on cuts or flaps. He was not willing to perform Epi-Lasik for me since my degree was high. Was there for about 2 hours.

Third clinic I went Clearvision,
- Comprehensive checks too and after that they will send you to the main clinic just beside it at Mount E. where Dr Ho office is at. (I do agree with someone earlier in the thread that waiting can be a bit long cos there are quite a number of people but it did not affect my decision to choose this clinic since I know I want to do Epi-Lasik. Dr Ho does look through your results and tell you if you are good to go or have any complications and you can follow up with questions then. I think the most important thing is to ask the right questions.)
- It was a quick chat for me since I'm all okay. The whole process was about 4 hours.

Eventually decided on Clearvision cos I did previously research on the procedures, the clinic and what to expect.

Surgery Day
Got there about 10.30am, paid and did some test to confirm no change in results. Filled up some forms, the assistants will go through the medication process after surgery the do's and don'ts, after that started dressing up for surgery. Surgery started at about 12pm, I was the 3rd person to go in. Quite scared at first but Dr Ho was reassuring. It was pretty quick and in no time I was out and escorted to a dimmed room to rest and put the medicine eye drops. After all the drops the assistants handed me the medications, sunglasses and said I could leave already. I could hardly open my eyes on the way home. I looked like an emo kid with tears streaming down my face at the back seat of the cab. Can feel a little discomfort, so I hit the bed when I got home. I felt better after the nap.

Week 1
Did not really feel any discomfort or complications after the first day. Kept to my medication timings and took vitamins to aid my healing. I was not used to contact lenses so I could feel it when I close my eyes to sleep. Did not wash my face or touch my eyes that much cos scared infection. First follow up, Dr Ho, indicated that healing is going well. Second follow up, I got the contact lense bandage removed which was a huge relief, haha. My vision was blur at first but it got better as days went.

Week 2-4
Started using computer again. Vision still a bit blurry at week 2. Week 3-4 my vision became sharper. Nothing major. Stayed out of sunlight for the whole month as much as possible.

Week 5-Now
Can see quite well without blurs. Eyes do feel dry in the morning when I wake up but goes away after a while. Continued with eye drops as instructed.

This has been my exp. up till today. I am quite happy with the results. Do take note to save up a bit more than what the procedures states as follow up medication and consultation adds to cost too for any clinics. The Feel free to ask me any questions, I will try to answer base on my exp.

Hi

Would like to know if you know your cornea thickness before and after the epi lasik and the thickness of each?

And also your degree for each eye

Many thanks

Hi,

My cornea thickness was about 550 microns. My degree for both eyes was about -7 each with myopia and astig. Do not know my current cornea thickness cos they never told me but I also never ask. If the laser eliminates 1 diopters per 14 microns then I should roughly have 452 microns left.

One of the reason I did not do LASIK is because cutting the flap itself will need about 120-160 microns excluding the actual treatment. Might cause cornea to be very weak.

Thank you. I too went to 3 Doctors for opinion. First the one at Orchard which I failed the cornea test cause it’s too thin; then the one at paragon medical where they said I’m ok to proceed to lasik and wanted to reduce my cornea till 290-300mm only which the third doctor, from mount e was astounded as the safe cornea thickness should be at least 380 after cutting.

Clinic A was straight forward, B was very pushy and honestly does not care about your eyes, whilst C Is has ethical practice out of all.

Just my 2 cents worth.

Btw I paid for all my pre lasik assessment but have not went for any lasik.

Any reviews for Atlas, Trans PRK?

Went to Atlas Eye for my LASIK assessment with the intention of doing SMILE, as it seems that Dr David Chan is one of the good ones for SMILE. Gravitated towards SMILE as it seems like the "best of both worlds" (short recovery and bladeless/flapless) after doing preliminary research.

However, after consultation with Dr. Chan, he recommended I do Trans-PRK (Epi-lasik) due to my low degree. Everything was great, staff was professional, and I'm considering proceeding with Dr Chan for Trans-PRK per his recommendation, my only concern is that it seems like people only go to him for SMILE only and I haven't heard many accounts/reviews of Dr Chan performing Trans-PRK on patients.

Was wondering if anyone else did Trans PRK under Dr Chan; and how was the experience like?

Thanks!

Did you notice Dr Ho was wearing specs?
