You need $1.5M for the Priority Private, not just the $200K.

2.2 for BKK bank

The promotional rate only applies to new deposit holders depositing funds of $200,000 and above.

If you already have a fixed deposit account, you may receive promotional rate of 2.2% for fresh fund deposits of $50,000. Your total placements do not need to reach $200,000.

Any web link to see this promotional rate ?

just need to call their main lines. And yes, 200k fresh fund only. 50k is 2%.
I put in RHB yesterday for 2.18% for 2 years. if takes out by end of 1st year, I can get 2% still. Probably 2.18%-2.2% is the highest for some times to come. Rates are holding steady

I just did premature withdrawal from ICBC step up deposit after recieving interest after 3 months.

The withdrawal is easy but transferring out the money to another bank is a bit of a pain.

There is 10k transaction limit and it is not obvious initially. I found it by trial and error.

Also the authentication via the physical token is not very intuitive. But after some trial and error I got it.

So it took me about an hour to move 45k out of ICBC to DBS.

I am planning to move it to ssb on Tuesday.

I've done the FNA through my RM. fuss-free, over the email and he sent a courier to pick it up from me.

I also told my RM the plan I hatched, and asked if it was OK (transfer from eSaver1 to eSaver2 to maintain the $200k). he said it is OK - just need to ensure daily minimum is still $200k for the 3 months. so all kinds of transactions are allowed.

will share here if the plan failed. definitely will question my RM why it didn't work since he said it's OK. but have to wait till dunno how many months later before they credit the $500 to those who 'passed' the promo.

i'm still not sure whether by topping up recently I had qualified for the 12-mth eSaver promotion as well... but I don't think it is important to stay for 12-mth unless there is going to be a global event where interest rates start to plunge. 1.55% can easily be met with FDs.

My rm is very slow. I asked him on WhatsApp some questions on thurs am regarding esaver promotion. Its not even very deep questions, he say he will get back to me on Monday noon.
Useless

BEA 2% for 12 months

What's the min amount for this? Saw someone mentioned that there is a $20 fee if u want to transfer the money to other banks when FD mature, true? Otherwise, they only have 1 outlet to open and close the account. Correct me if wrong on this. Thanks
