I saw the posb fd rate is 1.15% for 12 mths

so if senior citizens +0.1% = 1.25%

any link on the senior citizen portion ? cant seem to find anything within posb webpage.

Not 1.15%. 1.2% for 11mth. Went down personally...

I was told is 1.22% can do online for 11mth...only senior rate.

It’s stated clearly on the webpage that interest rate for 12 mths and above is applicable to only rollover.
So best interest is 11 mths 1.1%. Senior citizens (55 and above) get 1.2%

Not possible. POSB got states that they will add the total amount. Any amount more than $49,999 will have lower interest.

Can. Eg $40000 and $9999.

Sorry I think this article is from India, currency will be Rp then. It is possible other countries domestic interest rate is higher than our but their currencies are also not as strong as S$. A search of the local rate for SBI in Singapore for example shows the 12M FD rate is only up to 0.7%.

LOL.... How does just one question count as promoting India banks ? Don't let yr imagination run wild .

Their currency may be low but percentage wise the interest rates are still high.
