so I was planning to paint my RAM as I got fm another hardwarezoner... (its blue and my rig is red & black)...

bought the flat black spray paint and before turning into bed I wanted to remove the heat spreaders...

so started off okay...

Seems like an almost clean rip. Have you tried sticking it back to see if it still boots? :D:D

anyway good luck to u, cos even if u use heat gun, will definitely dmg the ram. and since your ram already dmg, just buy another new one and throw away that ram.

next time keep your itchy hands off the breaking the things up :s13:

You can try put back everything and RMA it. RAMS have product lifetime warranty.

If no tamper seals/stickers can try your luck.

Anyway, should have done something like using insulation tape to cover all contacts/sticker and spray over the stick.

Let's hope Corbell don't find out about this when you RMA the ram

Nah, removing the heat spreader invalidates the warranty

No harm trying though, send back to G.skill USA? lol. . If kena void, then can ask them throw lor. Since you already cant use. If can rma, then luck is at your end.
