Latest GeForce driver issue?

Not an issue per se, but I updated my nVidia drivers earlier to 361.75.

After that, I noticed that I had a "Safely remove hardware and media" icon in the system tray and it was the GTX970! Wasn't there before the update. Anyone else noticed this with 361.75?

"normal" for 361.75.
can be disabled with regedit (can google) but i jus let it be for now...

i didn't read release note to cfm, but some1 mentioned thunderbolt support, https://www.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/42zqw0/safely_remove_hardware_icon_now_visible_to_remove/

Thunderbolt, being PCI express hotplug, may require an "eject" to power down the GPU prior to removal.
